My name is Sydney Laramore. I am an online private tutor. I have been working with children for 10 years. I have my associates degree in Early Childhood Development and my bachelors degree in Educational Studies in Elementary Education. I have 160 hour certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I'm experienced teaching children both online and in person. To share a little about my hobbies, I love writing poetry and short stories. I collect vinyl records. I also love Pilates! I love to travel as well. I have a passion for teaching and watching learners grow. I would love to help your learner reach their goals!
My Teaching Philosophy
My personal philosophy of teaching is that all students are capable to learn and to grow. Every student should be treated as such. Students shouldn’t be labeled as bad or incapable. Every child deserves a chance to succeed. It is important that I build relationships with my students no matter their personality, background, or culture. It is also important for me to make learning engaging, providing fun, interactive lessons that students will remember. All students can learn and enjoy the process of learning.
